criteria met

  • Board-certified medical director with psychiatric expertise

Someone who understands mood disorders as well as dosing — not an anesthesiologist moonlighting on weekends.

  • Comprehensive screening protocol

Cardiac, psychiatric, substance and medication history reviewed before anyone is accepted.

  • Integration support

Therapy, coaching or structured reflection built into the protocol — not sold as an optional add-on.

  • Transparent pricing

Full protocol cost quoted upfront, including consultation and maintenance assumptions.

  • Session environment

Calm, private, dignified. Sound, light and staffing designed with intent.

  • Outcome tracking

Validated measures taken before, during and after the protocol.

  • Personalized protocols

Dose, spacing and endpoints set against your goals — recovery, recalibration, or both.

Assessed by our editors from clinic interviews and published materials. Unmet criteria are not a verdict on care quality — they are what we could not confirm.

Meridian was founded by a psychiatrist and a neuroengineer who met at a UCSF neurostimulation lab. Their shared premise: mental health interventions should be as instrumented as the rest of a quantified life.

Every patient starts with a qEEG baseline and a ninety-minute performance intake covering sleep architecture, workload, and cognitive goals. TMS protocols are adjusted against the qEEG at defined checkpoints, and IV ketamine sessions include pre- and post-treatment cognitive batteries so progress is tracked on data, not just mood scales.

The practice is self-pay only and keeps a deliberately small caseload. Evening and early-morning slots exist for patients who cannot step away mid-day.
